Monster Hunter World: Action RPG overtakes PUBG on the Xbox One

The action-RPG Monster Hunter World has managed to outdo the shooter Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds – at least on the Xbox One. As some users at ResetEra have found out, the latest Monster Hunter episode has secured first place at the Paid Games in the US. In the UK, however, it was “only” enough for second place.

The dominance of the Battle Royale shooter Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds is broken – at least temporarily and also referred only to the Xbox On e. As some users found out in the forum of ResetEra, the action role-playing game Monster Hunter World now available for € 55.99 ) was able to top the Paid Games Charts in the US Xbox Store. Previously, PUBG sat on the throne of the Top 10 for two months.

In the charts of Great Britain, however, it was enough for Monster Hunter World “only” for second place, but this is also a great success. Concrete sales figures are not yet known, so that a direct comparison is somewhat difficult. With more than five million copies delivered to the trade, the action role-playing game from Capcom, however, is quite successful anyway – after all, it was the best ever sales launch of the entire series history.
